Samara Weaving proves she can do body horror in a movie that is oft times brutal. In a post apocalyptic world she has to survive being hunted by a religious cult and ultimately will face them. Some confusion as to the ending, think Rosemary's baby. Azrael is the Islamic angel of death, and she sure does hand out some death in this flick. But the question to ponder is which group is evil, the cultists or the burnt people.
What the hell! (loved it)
First horror Ive watched in ages, this is how a small budget can make an epic horror movie with the write plot and actors, so cool.
If you want some incredibly fun gore & Samara Weaving just being incredible without saying a word, watch this film. If you don't want that, you have no taste & I can't help you.
Some good special effects but I didn’t understand the story at all!
