Was entertaining and an interesting idea I've never seen before being new to Amityville horror movies I liked it alot. I think all the characters were fun and created a great atmosphere, movie went over the top towards the end but I love the effort. He should have just left it in the shed lol .

Even though towards the end it goes way way over the top this movie really hit the spot for me just as a horror movie fan . I have not seen many of the older Amityville movies I remember the weird remake but I love the originality this brings. Just feels like something I've never seen a movie about a haunted possessed doll house with evil influences was fun to watch. The tension between step mom and son was erotic brought some hot scenery, the dynamics between everyone in the family was believable so that helped it out alot. A great watch.

Slapping a certain / town name on random objects / won't make them scary.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this one compared to the orginal, but it pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The plot kept me engaged even though I had to question why these people would allow the girl keep the dollhouse in her room. Bonus points for the tarantula/pinata scene as well.
