Jez tags along when Sophie brings Mark to her dance class, where he meets the beautiful, sexual-taboo-busting Nancy.

Jez makes nice with an old schoolmate looking for music for an advert. Mark makes a new friend at work, but the new friend turns out to be a bit of a racist.

Mark gets featured on the news drinking beer in a park and gets pegged an alcoholic. Meanwhile, Nancy wants to experiment with celibacy, much to Jez's chagrin.

Mark and Jez head to Dartmouth University so Jez can fill in for a band performing there and Mark can pursue a cute shoe shop clerk, which ends up with him infiltrating a tutorial.

With Sophie dating Jeff, Mark tries to buddy up to him so he can spend more time with her. But really it's Jez who hits it off with him.

Jez is all for it when Nancy asks to marry him, since her visa's running out. But Toni pops up and throws a wrench in things.
