GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka

Eikichi Onizuka is an ex biker who decides to become a teacher to woo the students. His friend Ryuji doesn’t agree with the idea.

Onizuka forgets to enter the competition for future teachers, and turns to alcohol. Ryuji tells him of a school that doesn’t require passing the test.

Uchiyamada is proud of his new car. Onizuka moves to the new school and befriends a lone student who loves video games.

Onizuka tries to show that a bad photo is false. The principal knows it is the work of the class, it is so bad that many teachers have had to resign.

Due to the insurance, the vice principal gets a new car and hopes to move closer to his wife and kid. Onizuka seems to be working well with his class.

The principal wants to get rid of Onizuka, against the director’s advice. However, Uchiyamada agrees with the decision.

It’s the parent/teacher consultations and Murai, one of Onizuka’s students, doesn’t want him to meet his mom, who is beautiful and single.

Fights continue between Murai and Onizuka. Murai’s mom arranges an evening at the bowling alley for the three of them and her son’s best friends.

Fukuroda, a gym teacher, doesn’t like Onizuka, as he looks bad in front of the female students. Miyabi and the other students are not happy too.

Tomoko is sad that Miyabo won’t be her friend any more. Since childhood, she has always had a great admiration for her.

The show and the singing contest don’t go well for Tomoko, who seems awkward. However, Miyabi looks like she was born to be on stage.

Fuyutsuki knows Professor Teshigawara, who has a soft spot for her and resents her friendship with Onizuka. The crush soon becomes an obsession.

Fuyutsuki, seeing Teshigawara all bandaged, offers to be his cook and he's over the moon. Ms. Oota is shocked about Onizuka’s teaching methods.

Yoshikawa, Kikuchi, Murai, Fujiyoshi and Kusano are going to help Onizuka prepare for an important exam. Only if he passes can he avoid dismissal.

Onizuka pursues Hidemi’s kidnappers and saves the girl. Then, although wounded by three shots, he takes the exam.

Onizuka becomes famous throughout Japan because of his bravery and dreams of finding his own girl, like the beautiful Urumi Kanzaki...

Urumi terrorizes the teaching staff, but Onizuka spends time with her and understands there must be a good reason for her hatred of the teachers.

Uchiyamada gets his fourth car from the insurers and doesn’t want Onizuka to destroy this one too...

Onizuka goes to see Miss Fujimori to see things more clearly on Urumi and learn about the fascinating past of the child prodigy.

Murai gets an anonymous letter and Onizuka wants to find out who sent it to him. Maybe Akane, brilliant student, tennis player and also prom queen?

Fuyutsuki is very popular with the boys in her class and it upsets both Onizuka and the girls so that they want to push her out of school.

Fuyutsuki goes to see Hotomi, who is cold and distracted. She finally manages to console her with the help of Onizuka, who lifts the spirits.

Onizuka gets lots of letters threatening him if he doesn’t respond. Not at all frightened, he decides to burn them all.

The problems between Uchiyamada and Onizuka continue, who turns up at the house to get the admiration of the vice principal’s wife and daughter.

Nao Kadena, the new nurse, arrives at the school. She is very caring and very curvy. All the teachers and the boys immediately find her attractive.

Nao thinks about resigning because of a fight with Uchiyamada. Fuyutsuki seems happy, but then discovers that the nurse needs money for an operation.

Tomoko continues to work in the entertainment world and her manager dreams of making her famous. But then her part in a drama is canceled.

Tomoki takes part in the Cover Princess competition but her clumsiness and her nerves with Onizuka seem to guarantee defeat.

Urumi has changed since she met Onizuka. Even Miyabi has noticed, getting in a rage. So a plan is hatched to get him fired.

Fujiyoshi is accused of stealing money for the summer camp. Onizuka finds that the amount matches what is found in his apartment, he is disturbed.

At the meeting, the students are angry but Onizuka settles it by inviting them all to Okinawa for free — he's positive he has a winning lotto ticket.

Urumi decides to visit Miyabi and discovers that the girl's hatred for teachers is due to a betrayal that cost her friend’s expulsion.

Urumi is planning to take revenge for Miyabi, forcing one of the girls who got Onizuka drunk to invite her to a supposed party in a hotel suite.

Tomoko is now famous and asks Onizuka for help when she discovers she could be "sold" to a company that plans to publish a book with her nude photos.

Murai tries to accept the idea that his mother might remarry, but when he sees her with an old, bald man, he understands he isn't ready for this.

Preparations are underway for Okinawa. Fuyutsuki is offended to hear that the students and Onizuka are disappointed as Kadena will not accompany them.

Onizuka pays for the whole school to go to Okinawa and he decides to suspend lessons, against the vice principal’s advice. Only Miyabi is missing.

Kikuchi tells Onizuka that there might be valuable treasure on a neighboring island and he decides to take the whole class there.

Anko and Yoshikawa get lost and end up in a series of caves. Onizuka and the rest of the class find Izumi and Asano, who tell them what happened.

Anko realizes she has fallen in love with Yoshikawa, but doesn’t want to admit it. Her friends, however, sense something and make fun of her.

The event organized by Onizuka is just a bravery test to make Yoshikawa and Anko a couple and make her declare her love.

Miyabi visits an old teacher to avenge the death of her best friend who committed suicide after being in a relationship with him.

Uchiyamada insists on the dismissal of Onizuka, even though the principal, Fuyutsuki and Kadena don’t agree.
