Keung, a police officer from Hong Kong, travels to New York to attend the wedding of his uncle, Bill, who has just sold his grocery store to the enchanting Elaine. When a mean-spirited street gang moves into the neighborhood and demands money from the local storekeepers, Keung is determined to protect Elaine and prevent the hoods from recovering a lost cache of stolen jewels.
