A "rockumentary" of England's fictitious proto-metal band Spinal Tap. Director Marty DiBergi (Rob Reiner) provides an intimate look at a band whose time has come and gone and come again and... Through interviews, rare footage and music including classic Tap tunes like "Big Bottom" and "Sex Farm" we get acquainted with guitarists David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean)and Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), bassist Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer), and every drummer who lived (and died) in this band.
