Following the death of his fiancée Alex, Jake seeks answers as to why she committed suicide. Reading her diaries. Jake discovers that although Alex loved him, she felt that something was lacking in their relationship. When she met a construction worker, Alex pursued him and it wasn't long before she was having an affair with him. Jake continues his search to learn the truth behind the betrayal.
