An investment banker in a small southern town, who caused many of his clients to lose vast amounts of money on bad financial advice, gets threatening phone calls asking, “Where will you be the minute you wake up dead?” and gets embroiled in an insurance scam with a pretty next-door neighbor that leads to multiple murders when a host of other people want in on the plot.
