This ensemble comedy, written and directed by Richard Curtis, tells the true story of a band of rogue radio DJs that captivated Britain in the 1960s, blasting rock and pop music from a boat off-shore in direct defiance to the government. Dubbed pirate radio, the 24 hour a day underground broadcast reached nearly half of the UK's population and helped to deliver the music that defined a generation to the people.
