David Mitchell stars in Ben Elton's comedy about William Shakespeare. Shakespeare is struggling to make his name as a writer in London, where being posh and knowing Latin seems to be more important than being a genius. And that's not his only problem. With a family in Stratford, the Bard is burning the candle at both ends. His teenage daughter is as stroppy as ever and his mate Kit Marlowe is stealing his best lines. The Bard runs his ink dry with stories of jealous African generals, teenage daughters in need of taming, and a musical play that may go by the title of 'Fourth Night'.
