Struck by the supercharged fallout of a particle accelerator explosion, forensic scientist Barry Allen becomes the fastest man alive: The Flash! With his newfound time-warping speed and help from the S.T.A.R. Labs team – Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells – and his adoptive family, Detective Joe West and Joe’s daughter Iris, the Scarlet Speedster runs circles around other metahumans set on wreaking havoc in Central city, while traveling between alternate universes and protecting our world from otherworldly threats. Last season, new dangers arrived from a parallel earth known as Earth-2, under the direction of an evil speedster named Zoom. In Season Three, Barry faces the unknown – as he irrevocably alters the timeline by saving his mother from the clutches of the Reverse-Flash. The only question now – as he remains trapped in his own Flashpoint Paradox – is will he be able to find a way out?

In the season three premiere Barry is living his dream life – his parents are alive; he’s asked Iris West on a date; and he can finally be a normal guy as Central City has another speedster, Kid Flash (series star KEIYNAN LONSDALE), running around saving the city. However, when Barry starts forgetting parts of his old life, the Reverse-Flash (recurring guest star MATT LETSCHER) taunts his nemesis, warning him that there will be serious repercussions for Barry and those he loves if he continues to live in this alternate universe. In addition to losing his memories, his powers will also start to fade. When disaster strikes, Barry must decide if he wants to continue to live in this world as Barry Allen or return to his universe as The Flash.

Meanwhile, Wally wants to join the battle against the aliens but Iris tells him he’s not ready.

Confused about Barry’s hesitation to stop Plunder, Wally decides to stop in as Kid Flash. Meanwhile, Caitlin offers Julian a job.

H.R.’s past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star JESSICA CAMACHO) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out interdimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders, but when Barry and Cisco find out that H.R.’s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead.

Grodd tells them he needs their help to stop Solovar (voiced by KEITH DAVID), the leader of Gorilla City, as Solovar wants to invade Earth-1. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash hit the streets to stop a metahuman that can control gravity, with H.R. and Joe guiding them from S.T.A.R. Labs.

Unable to wake her up, they turn to Team Flash to save her. However, the Music Meister surprises The Flash and puts him in a similar coma, one that Team Flash can’t cure. Kara and Barry wake up without their powers in an alternate reality where life is like a musical and the only way to escape is by following the script, complete with singing and dancing, to the end.

The Flash battles Abra Kadabra (guest star DAVID DASTMALCHIAN), a villain from Earth-19, who makes him a tempting offer – release him and Abra Kadara will reveal Savitar’s true identity. Desperate to save Iris, Barry considers taking the deal but Gypsy breaches in to capture the villain for her own reasons and during the melee, Abra Kadabra manages to escape. Barry is furious that Gypsy interfered but she refuses to back down, forcing Cisco to take sides. Meanwhile, Julian is still a bit cold towards Caitlin, but when she is severely injured in a battle with Gypsy, he rushes to her side.

The Once and Future Flash

Barry travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still-unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris.
