This documentary, shot by Sami Frey and edited by Agnès Ravez and Chantal Akerman, was made during the shooting of JEANNE DIELMAN and looks at the on-set relationship between Akerman, Delphine Seyrig, and the crew.

JEANNE DIELMAN cinematographer Babette Mangolte was a longtime collaborator of Chantal Akerman’s, and also shot her films HÔTEL MONTEREY and LA CHAMBRE. This interview, in which Mangolte discusses JEANNE DIELMAN, was conducted in April 2009.

In this 2007 interview, an off-camera Chantal Akerman interviews her mother about her films. The producers of the interview originally intended to edit out Akerman’s questions but ultimately decided to keep them in to preserve the candor of the mother-daughter rapport.
