Based on the multiple volume manga series that's sold almost nine million copies (and counting), this live-action, sci-fi action adventure is set in the year 2599, centuries after scientists have decided to terraform Mars using moss and cockroaches. When a pioneering team of astronauts visit the planet in advance of its human colonization, they're shocked to discover that the cockroaches have rapidly evolved into humanoid creatures with superhuman strengths.
