Set in 2035, Chicago cop Del Spooner doesn't trust the robots that are part of human society. They're supposed to be harmless but Spooner's latest murder hunt unearths a frightening android conspiracy. Only the robotics expert Susan Calvin can help him fight the growing danger, but first he has to convince her that her precious robots can do harm.
