Deadwood

A lawless stinkhole of crime and corruption, Deadwood is a festering outpost for the nastiest low-lifes in the west.

Family-killer Ned Mason has left a bad taste in Deadwood mouths, but there's no time to reflect as scheming saloon owner Swearengen wants to tie up loose ends, and that means killing the only surviving child.

Swearengen is on the hunt for the Judas Goat, who helped Cy Tolliver sneak into town and set up a rival whore house. Meanwhile, Brom Garrett confronts Swearengen about the dud gold claim, a decision he may live to regret, or not.

Plunder and greed have left Brom Garrett dead and Alma a widow. Anxious to get to the truth, she asks Hickock for help. Unfortunately, there's a plan to kill Bill.

While the jury retire to the tarts' rooms to chew over the evidence, the townsfolk lay the outlaw Wild Bill to rest.

Deadwood is sick with fear. Smallpox is threatening to engulf the town, but no one is well enough to go for medicine. Meanwhile, Swearengen is after Alma's gold claim.
