Worst TMNT show ever. The turtle designs are terrible. The new April O'Neil is now a pointless Mary Sue character who leads the show. Splinter has become a drunk imbecile. Raphael is the #2 leader behind April (not Leonardo). Thank you for ruining this franchise Nickelodeon...

Takes a few episodes to get going but once it does it's fantastic! Easily one of by favorite tmnt iterations. Yeah it changes stuff and some people are still really mad about it but I honestly found it really refreshing. Not to mention the animation quality is just stellar, really sad that Nickelodeon cut this one off at its peak, would love to see it come back.

so many people hate on the show for being different, but that's exactly what makes it amazing. many franchises fall into the same patterns and aren't open to change, but rise of the tmnt was bold and changed things that were iconic about the show but in fantastic ways. the characters, animation, battle choreography, music, it's all just fantastically done and has so much love put into it. it's such a beautifully crafted show and it keeps on getting better with every episode
