Halfway through the series, it takes a turn which elevates it above something like Broadchurch in my view - not just a murder investigation (to say more would give things away). I like the isolation of the setting. I like that it takes its time to tell its story and do character development whilst slowly racketing up the tension. I like that it doesn't give away at the start or in the trailers what the series will become in the end. So definitely a high recommendation if you like a good slow burn thriller.

Fortitude is a work of art. It will feel like your heart has been ripped out of your chest once you've made it to the end. Killer cast: Tucci, Gambon, Eccleston, Raine, Grabol, you'll recognise at least half of the main actors. A chilling and surprisingly authentic thriller, TV Show of the year.
