This show was really thought out well. Usually when a great book and books go to a screenplay, I hold my breath as they are very rarely as well thought out in a book. I believe the reason for this is that the movie or show and it’s characters never look like what they did in your imagination. That’s why I love books. But this was not the case here. I was blown away by the acting, the fact that we had a chance to see just how many great actors live everywhere. The Irish actors in this show where spot on, as well as the others. The set director and builders, make up artists, costume designers, I know I’m leaving people out but you guys get the picture. The only thing I found wrong was the ending. Didn’t like the fact that the Queen Of Dragons died at John’s hand. And that her dragon didn’t turn him into toast. But perhaps after what happened the dragon knew it had to happen. All through the show you’ll here several characters refer to dragons being smarter than humans. If that is in fact true, her dragon could have seen what she did as appalling. But that’s just one guy’s opinion. Anyway if you’re on the bubble whether or not to watch I say watch it. Just not with your kids lol.

Never loved a TV show as much as I loved and enjoyed this one. Some shows have great action works, some have great dialogues, some boast amazing animations; and there are some with fantastic story line and are themed as thriller, horror, dramatic, and suspense. GOT excels in each of these categories, and then creates a new genre of movie entertainment I like to call 'Surprise' genre, because you simply can't expect anything and even when you want to stay alert for a 'surprise' move - you still get surprised with the unexpected nonetheless. I'm sure they will be teaching about the new stuff the cinema world got to experience because of this show.

Games of Thrones follows the fantasy tale of a quest across kingdoms and continents for power and control. This show is rather unappealing and to be honest it's boring. I can't even plow through the winter of season 1 without mistaking the show for Nyquil while watching the excessive, exploitatious nudity of women play out. Even with the slow pace The Walking Dead can have, I'd more than recommend that (a classier/gritty but morally focused show) over this.
