Divorced working mother Christine Campbell (series star JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS) owns a women's 30-minute workout gym, successfully juggling the daily stresses of motherhood and her business. Her 8-year-old son, Ritchie (series star TREVOR GAGNON), has just been accepted into a posh private school frequented by two snooty stay-at-home moms, Marly (series star TRICIA O'KELLEY) and Lindsay (series star ALEX KAPP HORNER). Christine's twentysomething slacker brother, Matthew (series star HAMISH LINKLATER), lives with her and also serves as Ritchie's babysitter. Christine gets along with her charming ex-husband, Richard (series star CLARK GREGG), even better than when they were married, but her life gets a lot more complicated when she meets Richard's new girlfriend: a nice, young, impossible-to-hate woman also named Christine (series star EMILY RUTHERFURD)...the "new" Christine.

4 One Toe Over the Line, Sweet Jesus
3/27/06
Upon learning from the gloating Matthew that Christine is out enjoying her fifth date with an attorney, Burton (recurring guest star MATT LETSCHER - "Joey"), Richard does what any self-respecting ex-husband would do: He sabotages the happy couple's goodnight kiss and insults Burton with lawyer jokes. But when Richard tries to make it up to the pair by inviting them to dinner with him and "new" Christine, his best-laid plans go awry.
5 I'll Show You Mine
4/3/06
Christine gets nervous when Burton (recurring guest star MATT LETSCHER) tries to take their relationship to the next level. After 10 dates, Christine faces a critical moment. 6 The Other F Word

11 Exile on Lame Street

Christine objects when Richard and "new" Christine want to take Ritchie to a Rolling Stones concert. Fearing that her son is too young to be exposed to the vices on display there, Christine initially forbids it. I love this show, it is so funny. Julia is amazing in all her roles but as Christine she is hilarious and relatable in her adventures. The whole cast is great and all the characters add their own humor and struggles. I only wish there had been more seasons as I often watch the series over and over again and laugh out loud every time.

This was a great show, Julia and Wanda were a great couple of actresses and made a very positive attraction for the viewers to see a great comedy show. Comes to show you their was no racists and that's how all people regardless of race, color or ethnic they may be. Humorous show that brought you to watch every episode. Very awesome job well done. Thank you Wanda @ Julia for lifting peoples spirits and reaching my up most attention. I've watched Wanda on Ber comedy shows and she is a real funny lady. I like Julia best in this show more so than Seinfeld or Veep. Keep up the excellency young ladies and good luck.I'm commenting from Lorain, Ohio. Have a awesome day or evening whichever it may be when you read my comments.

I loved this show! "Old Christine" was very naive, nervous, sometimes even dumb. However, she was always genuine. I'm going to have to purchase the entire series because I don't want to depend on the networks to provide me with such original and daring content.
