I watched season 1 of Wynonna Earp. It was a bit hit and miss. It does TV stuff that can be really annoying... like there's the bad guy you can kill... perfect opportunity for for some inexplicable reason you hesitate and he then gets the upper hand or gets away. That happened repeatedly. Maybe I would not have minded so much but I just did not find the main bad guy to be particularly compelling. Some of the other enemies in the show were infinitely more interesting. But the series has its fun moments and likable characters so I stayed with it and will probably check out season 2 in spite of the cliff hanger I did not like.

I am in LOVE with this show! Binged the first two seasons on Netflix and couldn't get enough. If you like Buffy, Supernatural, and/or Xena, you'll love this show. It's the best sci-fi series out there right now, with the central story being about two bad ass sisters who fight demons together. An amazing world full of diverse characters and killer demons, plus great representation of gay characters. Also, Melanie Scrofano is the epitome of witty, sarcastic, kick ass hero! Do yourself a favor and become an Earper!

I absolutely love this show. I love it so much that I purchased the season pass for Season 2 (and binge watched season one on Netflix). It is witty, has multiple strong female characters that can take care of themselves but also know how to work as a team. The acting is great, the story lines are fun, the whole thing just rocks. I pretty much count down the days until the next episode airs. We need more shows that have strong women front and center (and a healthy and realistic LGBTQ relationship to boot!).
