District Attorney Maya Travis returns to Los Angeles for another chance at justice after movie star Sevvy Johnson is suspected for another murder eight years later.

Maya and Matthew search Sevvy's house for anything that might lead to an arrest as they face mounting pressure from Wiest to build a case quickly; Ezra tries to clean up Sevvy's image.

Maya convinces an asset to wear a wire during a rendezvous with Sevvy; Ezra works to create an alibi for Sevvy and he sends his henchman, Buck, to pay a visit to Riv at his ranch.

Maya obtains surveillance footage of Jessica and Julianne the night before Jessica's death. Elsewhere, Maya finds out that there's a mole leaking information to Ezra.

With the discovery of a mole in the office, the entire building is put on lockdown. Elsewhere, Ezra works to cover up Sevvy's injuries and keep the information contained.

Maya and Sevvy face off in court once again. Meanwhile, Weist believes that there is information about the mole hunt that Matthew isn't telling him.

Demoted to second chair, Ezra plots to bring down Angela but when Loni plants the seed about a past case being investigated, Ezra focuses his attention to Maya.

Maya and the team are determined to keep evidence from imploding their case. Elsewhere, Ezra and Angela are thrown when Sevvy goes off-book, offering up a massive reward for information about Jessica's murder.

CJ has a plan to capture Maya's stalker. Elsewhere, Ezra and Sevvy follow a tip to Vegas and uncover Jessica's secret trip to a gun range.

Maya and Ezra work together as Sevvy's case comes to a head. Sevvy makes a rash decision after he receives a mysterious letter from a law firm.
