About this show

Chicago PD is a gripping new police drama about those who put it all on the line to serve and protect. District 21 of the Chicago Police Department is made up of two distinctly different groups: The uniformed cops who patrol the beat and deal with street crimes, and the intelligence unit, the team that combats the city's major offenses.

Man as a crime fiction writer I've always liked Anything Dick Wolf has put out there. But chicago pd recycles their actors and actresses to much The same faces show up to much for actors playing multiple characters And it totally takes away from the dramatic effect and reminds the viewer it's just a t.v. show then the whole "magic" behind the show disappears. Also u can blaim the pandemic but the show is spiraling out... They need to release the writers and bring in fresh minds to write the show

With all the major shows ie; HOUSE, In Plain Sight and saddest of all CSI-LAS Vegas, it was hard to find shows that stood up to them. This was a bit hard to get into, but I had bought the season so I watched it through and now I'm so glad I did, it's a great show. At times I want to throw a remote against the TV for some of the predicate acts they pull, but defiantly give it high marks. Chicago Fire is great too!!

I have a love-hate relationship with this show. It's new, it's exciting, but at times the scenes just seem to either go flat. It's an enjoyable, interest-keeping, fast-paced, intense show, but some of the writing or showrunning, along with the continuity between sister shows CFD and CPD (some parts disagree with each other) needs a little tweaking to fine tune it to a 5-star show. It just seems like there's some void that leaves you going "huh?".
