If Mortal Kombat and Masterchef did a crossover this is what you'd get. Will Graham is a special agent with a special talent of being able to empathize accurately with a serial killer's motives, thus making him very useful to Morpheus, the head of the division in the FBI Will works in. Hannibal flits in between the action acting as a sounding board for WIll while maintaining a lucrative psychiatric practice (the guy drives a Bentley), often entertaining with frequent dinner parties where he dresses his victims in lavishly prepared 3 Michelin star meals, and making time for the occasional kill to stock up the cold storage, all while wearing a very sharp suit. Will plods along investigating ludicrous over the top murders that make Mortal Kombat fatalities look gratuitous. I'm not sure how the actors managed to keep a straight face while on set because I had a few chuckles. The problem with the show is all of Will's investigation of random serial killers per episode is really boring. The tension between Hannibal and the FBI agents is what should drive the show, but it never feels like it until episode 10.

Absolutely incredible. I was blown away by the prowess, cinematography, and standard of excellence delivered by Fuller and every last member of the cast. I was wary before checking this show out, but it became my #1 shortly after I began. NBC's Hannibal is a truly gripping ride into the darkness of insanity, and finding out you're not alone.

This has quickly become my all time favourite show. Everything about it is spectacular; the acting, music, set and prop and costume design. I highly recommend this show to anyone who loves a little violence, a little mind games, and a whole lot of angst.
