About this show

Into the Badlands is a genre-bending martial arts series very loosely based on the classic Chinese tale Journey to the West. In a land controlled by feudal barons, Into the Badlands tells the story of a great warrior and a young boy who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.

I love the electic mix of aethetic styles in this show and the martial arts sequences are amazing they kind of reminded me of what was done in the Matrix... the only draw back for me was it felt a bit slow in parts but overall thoroughly enjoyed hope it gets a season 2! 6 episodes wasn't enough
