About this show

Set in the small northern city of Algonquin Bay, the six part mini-series follows detective John Cardinal as he plunges into a grizzly murder mystery – that only he believes is the work of a serial killer. Thirteen year-old Katie Pine went missing from the small northern Ontario city of Algonquin Bay months ago. She’s just been found – brutally murdered and frozen in a block of ice at the bottom of an abandoned mineshaft. Everyone thought she had run away. Everyone except Detective John Cardinal. The six episode mini-series follows Cardinal as he plunges into the grizzly mystery – a mystery that no one besides him believes is the work of a serial killer.

Excellent, very entertaining, with good acting and good writing! I watched all 6 episodes of each season at once: it's that good!
