NOS4A2 is a beautiful and haunting thick ass novel by Joe Hill, which I LOVE, and was looking forward to it being put on screen. However, I was mostly disappointed with this show. Ashleigh Cummings as Vic McQueen is great. Jahkara J. Smith as Maggie Leigh is phenomenal, but Zachary Quinto, who is a good actor, did not completely capture the essence of Charlie Manx. I felt that I was watching a different character then to what was presented in the novel. This is the second piece of Hill's work that I have seen adapted to the screen and been disappointed in. I am still curious to see where the show goes in Season 2, but as previously stated, I wasn't completely sold on Season 1.

while watching the 1st episode you route for the kids, buttt Vampires have no Mercy or God in them....l cant stop watching , very nostelgic

Anthony quinto plays a parasitical vampire whose life is linked with a demon like automobile that extract the life force from young children to keep Quinto alive and then he stores the vampiric children in Christmas land
