My heart was truly warmed by the superb portrayal of Amy by Laura Dern. The truth in her performance- ranging from compassion for others, trying to educate closed minds no matter how futile as well as the regular disappointments and disillusionment we all face while trying to connect with others was pure genius. Amy's ability to retain her convictions while facing her fears during the series finale was breathtaking.
