I have loved this series from the minute the 1st book "Cross Stitch" hit Australian shores. It had been and remains my go to book and I was initially concerned over how the transition to the screen would go, even with Diana Gabaldon as a consultant. I should never have doubted Herself; it more than met expectations. The cast and crew managed to temain true to the source material in all its bloody and violent and sexual glory, while also embracing the new medium. Can't wait for Season 2.

I started watching this when my older sister posted something regarding it on Facebook. I was immediately drawn into the story, as I love stories of epic adventure, intrigue, honour, and love. The series has authentic historical quality, combined with such a riveting storyline, that never gets old. Its a series that has everything, hence whether female or male, both will enjoy its qualities. The one thing I find remarkable, is how well the characters have been cast. Every single one of them are so believable, you would swear that these characters actually existed! You would be doing you self a huge favour in watching this. However, if you've been a sufferer of abuse or any thing like that, it does contain some realistic scenes, that might be a little close to home. Overall, an amazing story! I've watched the first season twice, and have now moved into season 2! Oh, and the orchestration, costume, and cinematography are absolutely breathtaking. I L O V E the theme song!!!! Totally legit and awesome!

This is the best show. Watched the first two series then started reading the books. Have read all the books now to keep in the theme of three Outlander but still get surprises as every now and then the story line changes a bit. Can't wait to watch all the new episodes coming out 👍😊
