Thomas Shelby, leader of the Birmingham gang, the Peaky Blinders, comes into possession of a shipment of guns from the local BSA factory. Aware that keeping the guns could lead to trouble with the law, Thomas nonetheless wants to use the guns to increase the Peaky's power.

When a couple of Fenians start questioning Thomas about whether he has the stolen guns, Grace gets involved with disastrous consequences.

Thomas isn't pleased when his brother John announces he's marrying a local prostitute. The problems keep coming when the Peakys' conflict with the Lees family results in the betting shop being ransacked by the gypsies and a hand grenade being left in Thomas' car.

Thomas tells Grace he's planning to overthrow Billy Kimber, but swears her to secrecy. The Shelby's errant father, Arthur Senior, reappears in their lives. Thomas and Polly want him to leave, but Arthur is glad to have his father back, particularly when Arthur Senior confides in him his dream of running a family casino. But everything is not as it seems.

It's the day of Worchester races and Thomas' plan is entering its final stages. But as Kimber's men head towards Small Heath, it becomes obvious that someone has tipped them off about the plan. Who is behind this betrayal? Ada does her best to prevent an armed confrontation, but guns are drawn and battle begins.

Named for their practice of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, the Peaky Blinders run an empire of illegal betting, protection rackets and stolen goods.

This is one of the best series we've seen in a while. It's based on a true story and very edge of your seat action. Has a bit of an off beat humor in some cases and has some awesome actors and actresses. We have watched season one and two and are waiting for regional approval for dvd season Three and have seen some clips from season four. Love Cillian Murphy and the way he plays the Thomas (Tommy) Shelby character. Tom Hardy joins the cast in season two as Alfie Solomons... Recommended to everyone to watch. You won't be disappointed. 😎🔫📀☕🎩👔👓💕

Gave it a chance and this show is great, stuffed to the gills with great acting and interesting story lines. Cillian Murphy really puts his acting prowess on display here. This show keeps u hooked and looking forward to the next episode always.
