About this show

Before there were parenting blogs, trophies for showing up and peanut allergies, there was a simpler time called the '80s. For geeky 11-year-old Adam (Sean Giambrone), these were his wonder years, and he faced them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy. The Goldbergs are a loving family like any other -- just with a lot more yelling.

Even though I didn't grow up in the US, I did grow up in the 80s and feel like Adam and I would've been friends at school. This show has humour, heart and well developed characters. People have criticised the nostalgic element of the show, but in a world that is continually in flux I think The Goldberg's help us to look at where this world came from, what values we really do hold dear, and where we want to head to.

Fantastic. Maybe the only good comedy on TV right now! So relatable if you were a child of the 80's, and especially hilarious if you had an over-bearing mother who babied you until you left home.
