FOR ROME! Damned good series. Few shows actually manage to make every character vivid like this one does. Every scene a polished piece of work. My only criticism is that there are simply not enough episodes to satisfy. Always left wanting more.

Unfortunately it only lasted 2 short seasons but they were epic. A must see. Very good acting, historically accurate, funny yet serious and interesting. There were rumours that there were going to be more episodes or a movie.... keeping fingers crossed.

My only beef is British accents. The Romans wud roll in their grave to know they will one day be portrayed by the tongue of their enemies. It wud be like making a film about US Marines n have them speak Arabic.
