Scoundrel became too back room, dirty dealing causing wife to stray. Huge dept store beginnings excellently done. Lives, treachery, done well. Snob, snooty people trying to rule done well. Rich ruling politics portrayed realistically. Great 2nd show, after D.Abbey.

Wonderful acting, emoting and dialogue between the actors. Just love the period costumes along with both the indoor and outdoor scenery. The story line is of constant interest. Thank you! P.S. Please bring a Selfridge Department Store to N.Y.C. !!

I was skeptical at first, but I was hooked after the very first episode! There is something about the premise of the story that was instantly more entertaining that Downton Abbey for me. I'm a huge fan of the Abbey... but that story took a few episodes to draw me in. This one was an instant hit. It always leaves me eagerly waiting for the next episode! Perfect companion for Nexus 10 users. Looks absolutely brilliant on the sharp screen. Great show to have on the go.
