About this show

In a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that won't stop him from enrolling in a prestigious hero academy. Now, the promising freshman class is making its debut at the world-renowned U.A. Sports Festival! It’s Quirk versus Quirk as our young heroes face off in the ultimate showdown.

Season 1 IS on Google Play, you just need to check out the Uncut seasons. Strangely, the edited version isn't on GP, but that's fine, it's better uncut anyways. The series is fantastic, and Funimation's simulcast / simuldub has been excellent. The cast is growing at a very understandable pace and the characters are all very fleshed out and easy to sympathize with. Best current anime, period. Also, GP messed up the seasons. There is no season 4. The seasons are: 1, 2 part 1, 2 part 2, 3 part 1, and 3 part 2.

Don't get me wrong, I love this show. Yet there are anime tropes I wish they would get rid of or at least dull down to make this show better.
