About this show

Before there was Batman, there was GOTHAM. The origin story of some of DC Comics greatest Super-Villains and vigilantes, this one-hour drama follows Detective Jim Gordon’s rise to power in a dangerously corrupt city that would spawn iconic characters such as The Penguin, Catwoman, The Riddler and a young Bruce Wayne.

I love this show. It's somehow made old stories seem fresh, and even knowing the fate of many of the characters, it's still entertaining to watch. BUT, Google Play seems to have no release pattern. It's been over a year since I got the pilot. I don't really care about any of Google's agreements with TV stations, I paid for a TV show, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to get it at a consistent release rate. Don't sell a show as a complete series unless you know you can deliver it.

Gotham brings a new light of entertainment to the TV series genre with an unorthodox approach to character acting and a story line that follows the traditional theme of the tales of Gotham. The unfortunate down side is the pathetic and sloppy management of google movies that have no respect for the paying clientele that support their media platform.

I made a decision not do like the majority of people do and download shows illegally. This show is an example of why it is a massive challenge - episode 9 was released in November 2014 and it is still not available to download on the play store. This sucks, friends of mine have watched this, tweeted about it and discussed it - I am hanging on like a mug. Why am I doing that exactly???
