About this show

Created and executive produced by Emmy winning producer Dick Wolf, Law & Order: Criminal Intent veers from the traditional format by taking viewers into the minds of its criminals. The police procedural mystery series integrates a unique psychological component allowing viewers an up close and personal look into the criminal justice system. Detective Robert Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio, "Men in Black", "The Cell"), is an exceptionally bright homicide investigator with well-honed instincts that match up favorably with his criminal quarry. His partner, Detective Eames (Kathryn Erbe, "Oz"), is a strong woman whose stylish edge meshes well in tandem with Goren. Overseeing the Major Case Squad is their Commanding Officer, Captain Deakins (Jamey Sheridan, "Shannon's Deal"), a competent and ambitious political animal who knows how to survive and thrive behind the scenes. All of them often butt heads with no-nonsense AssistantDistrict Attorney Ron Carver (Courtney B. Vance, "The Tuskegee Airmen", "The Preacher's Wife"), who is a stickler for the crucial legal details.

Brilliant show, well acted and interesting stories. Unfortunately this version on google has been butchered and the music removed which makes them strange viewing. Doesn't even have the traditional Law & Order chimes!

I think law and order, criminal intent is the best series, out of all three, some episodes are ok , but there some really good episodes,eg jones, smothered, art. Its a pity they dont have series 2, 3, 4. So glad they have got seasons 2,3,4, they get better as it goes on.
