Waiting impatiantly for Season 6, watched it all through a shopping and video competitor of Google. Ragnor and Lagatha are brilliantly portrayed as is Floki the mad carpenter/ boat builder. The series takes you through a continuing story from a Viking perspective, loosly following history, with Ragnor and latterly his sons raiding Wessex, Mercia,York and Paris as the Vikings look for plunder and settlement lands, plus expeditions into the Mediterranean. Add in Viking power struggles back in Scandinavia all make a griping fascinating and compelling watch even down to the costumes and hairstyles. The title music also draws your attention. Remember though its entertainment show so take it for what it is as some are critical for the historical content.

I am great believer in the history of the vikings. and there ways. I know my late brother had the broad features of a norse man and and his jaw line plus his hair colouring brought about the history of the vikings there ways there gods. etc some of which have been altered over the years but have been handed down the generations. There lives and there ways make brilliant reading.
