When Calls the Heart

Elizabeth's sister, Julie, visits Hope Valley in her quest to become a teacher. Meanwhile, Lee is made acting Sheriff when Abigail and Bill leave town to testify in Gowen's trial. Carson has problems with a travelling tonic salesmen.

Elizabeth mentors Julie, who finds teaching more difficult than she imagined. Meanwhile, Abigail has to find a way to convince the railroad to build its depot in Hope Valley.

Jack returns and he and Elizabeth start planning their future. Sparks fly between Carson and a new arrival. Elizabeth teaches her students the difference between facts and speculation, and the town is put on edge when Lee can't withdraw funds to pay his employees.

Abigail has to figure out how to keep the town's bank afloat. Meanwhile, Elizabeth struggles to understand what troubles one of her young students. Rosemary goes overboard planning Jack and Elizabeth's wedding.

The big day has finally arrived, and Jack and Elizabeth are getting married. But problems arise for the town when the church catches fire, and Bill ends has difficulties trespassing a prisoner.

Elizabeth deals with Phillip’s eyesight problems, that could be more serious than she originally thought. Meanwhile, Rosemary is feeling like her marriage is at a stand still when she compares herself to newlyweds, Jack and Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has the kids learn about business by having the kids follow business leaders in Hope Valley for a day. Meanwhile, Abigail and the town try and find the perfect investor for the failing town bank.

While bringing AJ to prison, Bill gets bit by a rattlesnake. Meanwhile in town: Rhonda, the sister to Carson’s dead wife shows up in town and says that she is dying of a brain tumour. Rhonda tries to convince Carson to preform brain surgery on her. And Elizabeth tries to reunite Greta with her lost son.

The wife of Lee’s late silent partner, Eleanor, arrives in town causing problems gives Gowen a chance to prove his character. Meanwhile, Faith plans a surprise party for Carson, and Jesse has a hard time coping with new job responsibilities.

After the death of Jack, Hope Valley struggles to cope with the loss of their beloved Mountie.
