2 stars for letting people Know about Chernobyl But that's about it half of the Stuff said in this is Wrong and alot of it is inaccurate to what actually happened, or blown Miles above what was actually happening, I have Watched loads of documentary's on this subject and have went though a few of the books regarding this Situation, if you are really interested in this is Please go and watch actual documentary's on this and you will realise how over the top this series was but you will learn more

This series is gripping and tells a compelling story. The cumulative effect of the depiction of events as they happened, followed in the final episode by the scientific account of the cause of the explosion, is spell-binding in its dramatic effect. Actors deliver these things brilliantly. I'm giving it five stars, even though as a partial Russian speaker, I would have loved to have more focus on the original language. That's a personal preference and the British English also has its merits in reducing the distance from the history, for us Brits at least. Well done!

An absolute must-see, not just for the brilliant storytelling, acting, recreation of the Soviet era, etc - but an historical education for all about what happened in Chernobyl. We hope for better, imagine that lessons have been learned by understanding the damage caused by negligence, ignorance and pride; yet every day such tragedies continue to happen.
