The arranged marriage of Philip and Elizabeth Jennings grows more passionate and genuine by the day, but is constantly tested by the escalation of the Cold War. Tensions heighten upon the arrival of a new neighbor, Stan Beeman, an FBI agent.

When Philip and Elizabeth are given an urgent task to plant a bug in Defense Secretary Caspar Weinbergerês office, they risk exposure when an unwilling maid of the Weinberger home refuses to cooperate. Stan closes in on a member of the Soviet Rezidentura in an effort to uncover the identities of deep cover Directorate S operatives.

Just Visiting

Generally suspenseful and well acted. But it does have its weaknesses. Three seasons in, and I am wondering if this series is more about psychological depression and group therapy than it is about Soviet agents and spying. There is not much of that going on. There are interesting scenes, but to get to them you have to go through a number of truly boring plays and exchanges. With the acting talents they have going for them, directors and writers could have done a much better job.

One of the best of the best. Elizabeth and her hubby are Oscar awards, fantastic writers, story line, but supreme acting. Thank you for the show, am now watching which might now be there last season. Fantastic work to each and everyone of you, behind and n front f the camera and everyone n between. Our popcorn maker is nearly burnt out Lucille Bauer

There's a lot of angles in this period drama that make this show great. In Season 4 it's the dynamic with Paige, the pastor, Stan Beeman and his kid that takes this show to a new level. Looking forward to Season 5.
