13 months later... Saga Noren is working with the Malmo Police, but she misses her only friend, Martin Rohde, who is now serving a ten year prison sentence. Saga is convinced that she did the right thing when she turned him in, though she can't spend time with a convicted murderer. When a well-known gender theorist, and owner of Copenhagen's first gender-neutral preschool, is found murdered at a construction site in Malmo, Saga has to cooperate with a new Danish colleague, Hanne, who has difficulty accepting Saga for who she is. They can see that the killer has been careful with aesthetic details and wanted them to find the body, but what does the killer really want.
2 Episode 2
1/21/16
Saga gets a new Danish colleague, Henrik Sabroe, and together they continue to investigate Helle Anker's murder. When another spectacular murder occurs, with the same attention to aesthetic details, suspicions are turned to a Danish blogger, Lise Friis Andersen. She has openly expressed her disgust with the two murder victims, but denies the allegations. Meanwhile, the hunt for Helle Anker's son, Morten, continues. He doesn't have an alibi and is avoiding the police. He doesn't do well without his medicine.
Saga is shocked when she realizes that Hans, her boss, has been kidnapped. Saga drops the case and shifts her focus to finding him.
3 Episode 3
1/28/16
The police receive a video demanding a ransom in exchange for Hans' release. They manage to locate him, but when they are about to free him, they find that his kidnapper has been shot and Hans has been abducted again. Is there more than one person out after Hans? Meanwhile, Morten Anker is shot to death and there are details in each of the murders that lead the police to believe that they are connected. And all of the victims have connections to the blogger Lise Friis Andersen... Can she help lure the killer into a trap?
Saga feels increasingly frustrated - Hans has been kidnapped and her mother is trying to force her way in, both physically and psychologically. And Saga's new boss, Linn, is not as indulgent as Hans was.
4 Episode 4
2/4/16
Hans is still in a coma. Saga makes a mistake in a dramatic hostage situation, but they manage to arrest a suspect who is taken in for questioning. Linn keeps an eye on Saga and thinks that she should take it easy and process everything that happens to her. Meanwhile, a fourth spectacularly staged murder is discovered and Saga and Henrik realize that they don't have the right suspect. He is only guilty of one of the murders, as a copycat. They are back to square one. What is the connection between the victims? Henrik and Saga end up in bed, largely thanks to Saga. They become closer emotionally as well, and Henrik gives Saga a cold case to read, about three missing people - a woman and two little girls.
5 Episode 5
2/11/16
Lillian discovers a wound in Hans' mouth, which turns out to be a branding mark. The other two victims are examined again and they also have the same kind of branding mark. The perpetrator is probably branding his victims to punish them for something. But for what? Saga sees that Linn is meeting her mother and realizes that they are talking about her. Linn continues to question Saga's actions and limit her responsibilities, which makes Saga start to doubt herself as well. Maybe she isn't as good as Hans always said that she was? But Henrik shows clearly that he is on Saga's side and that they are a team now. Linn starts to investigate Saga's past.
6 Episode 6
2/18/16
Saga and Henrik see a connection between the victims and some artwork hanging in a museum. All of the artwork is owned by Freddie Holst, a well-known and successful Danish business man. Is there a connection between Freddie the victims, or is someone trying to frame him? Meanwhile, they discover a fifth murder - which can also be connected to a piece of art. The investigation becomes even more complicated, and Linn places greater demands on Saga. Saga is not only under pressure at work. She learns that her mother has committed suicide and that Hans is now on a ventilator. Saga visits Hans first and then Henrik for comfort. Henrik also gets something off his chest by telling Saga his secret.

2/25/16
An older couple is found murdered in a spectacular fashion in their house outside Ystad. They have a connection to a piece of art and they both have branding marks in their mouths, just like the previous victims. Now there is probably only one victim left and everything indicates that it will be Freddie Holst, but he refuses to accept police protection. They pick up a lead on the suspected killer from an email address and the hunt begins on both sides of the bridge... At the same time, they get the list of foster children who have lived with the couple who were murdered in Ystad. There is one name that stands out...
Saga learns that Hans is now brain dead and she is put under further pressure when it turns out that her mother was murdered. One of the police's internal investigators wants to question her.

The hunt for the killer intensifies, and Saga and Henrik are certain of his identity. But when they are about to bring him in, he has disappeared. They are surprised by the next victim, who is clearly linked to the case, which now takes a completely new direction. The killer has a refined plan and is waiting to execute his big finale.
The internal investigator questions Saga about her mother's murder again, and all of the evidence points to Saga. After a dramatic shoot-out in the police station, Linn orders Saga to go on leave. She is overextended. How can Saga prove her innocence and keep her job on the police force - the only thing that really means something to her?

Saga has been forced to take a leave of absence from the investigation and her old colleague Rasmus Larsson takes her place.
Freddie Holst is desperately searching for Jeanette, who is carrying his unborn child. When he finds her, she is tied up. She has recently given birth and her newborn baby is gone. Freddie contacts the police and Henrik demands that Saga return to the investigation. Together, Saga and Henrik continue the search for the newborn and finally realise the connection between the victims, and who the perpetrator is.
The investigation of Saga's mother's death is complete and Saga is allowed to read her own testimony, which will then be submitted to the prosecutor. Will she be convicted of murdering her mother?
10 Episode 10
3/17/16
The hunt for the perpetrator and Freddie's newborn baby continues. Freddie gets an SMS from the kidnapper with a picture of the baby and a meeting place. Totally hooked! Saga is so smart and makes me laugh out loud because of her interesting personality issues. Martin is vulnerable and very likable especially how he operates with Saga. They are a great crime solving team!

A bit too politically correct for me. Also, plot seems too far fetched in some episodes.
