Season 8 episodes (10)

801 Cheerleaders
6/10/10
Cheerleading is as American as apple pie, but it is also responsible for 65 percent of all catastrophic female sport injuries. It is one of the most dangerous high school activities due to competitive coaches, fanatic parents, and a multi-million dollar industry concerned with its bottom line.
802 Fast Food
6/17/10
Hold on to your cheeseburger! Public Health agencies, food activists and special interest groups have launched an all-out war against fast food restaurants. Should the government really be spending our tax dollars to regulate what, where, and how we eat?
803 Martial Arts
6/24/10
Thanks to centuries of Eastern mystique, the martial arts may appear spiritual and special. But isn't karate just a bunch of guys in pajamas breaking boards with their feet? Can overweight housewives truly learn to defend themselves? And what is "chi" anyway?
804 Teen Sex
7/1/10
Every generation worries about teen sex, but Penn and Teller believe today's parents are more hysterical than ever. The duo will look at the drastic measures adults are taking to combat the perceived dangers of teenage promiscuity, "sexting," and gay-straight alliances.
805 Easy Money
7/8/10
Everyone wants to get rich quick, but are multi-level marketing schemes really the answer? Penn and Teller reveal the truth about direct-sales companies that market everything from sausages to sex toys.
806 Area 51
7/15/10
Is the government hiding alien spaceships? Follow a team of UFO hunters on an overnight expedition in search of mysterious aircraft flying above a secret military facility known as Area 51. Buckle in, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
807 Criminal Justice
7/22/10
Is America's criminal justice system weighed down with bad science, ineffective methods, incompetence and corruption? Penn and Teller set out to reveal that the only thing scarier than crime is America's war on crime.
808 Old People
7/29/10
According to Penn and Teller, America's seniors are stripped of their dignity thanks to ongoing stereotypes about old people. They investigate the widespread beliefs that old people can't drive, don't have sex, and smell bad.
809 Self Esteem
8/5/10
Research has proven that self-esteem-building does not work. However, misguided parents, coaches and social workers are using this flawed technique to create a generation of narcissistic losers who believe that they are "special."
810 Vaccinations
8/12/10
Vaccination is considered modern medicine's greatest weapon against disease. But thanks to pseudoscience, fear, and the public's gullibility, the debate over vaccination safety rages on. Should parents trust their children's health to loudmouth celebrities rather than doctors and scientists?

My concern's with the context of P&T's sources for the "PETA" episode. Their info comes from the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF), an organization that lobbies for the meat industry. Check the episode's credits under "Footage & Stills Provided By" then Google "Center for Consumer Freedom". It's in their interest to smear groups like PETA, and they do it by proxy under various Websites and front organizations to confuse animal lovers and draw support away from these powerful animal welfare groups. PETA and HSUS are against what the CCF lobbies to protect. Follow the money! PETA does more for animal welfare than those who bash them. As early as season two, P&T seem to have become what they claimed to be against. And Dennis Prager's uneducated comment regarding chicken intelligence is completely wrong and false. There's an article in the Scientific American on chicken intelligence anyone can Google as well.

This is missing "Holier Than Thou" from season 3 and "The Vatican" from season 7. A shame Showtime blocked them from VoD. 1 star deducted until Showtime chooses to end the censorship and make these episodes available on VoD.
