It's a fun take on the "monster of the week" structure that's so prevalent in this sort of episodic TV. What elevates it above a "meh" is James Spader stealing every scene he's in, sometimes chewing the scenery but often just out-charismaing everyone else in the scene. Think Robert Downey Jr. in, well, most things. So, if you're not a fan of James I imagine you'll get little out of this.

Brilliant and classy. James Spader is a jekyll and hyde former agent, turned master criminal. He knows all the players and how they play. He also knows when and how he will get played. Only weakness is agent Lizzie, who struggles to grasp the mans life and sacrifices to a corrupt government.
