Season 1 episodes (6)

1 Emily the Imaginary Friend / The Lost Girl
9/7/11
The season premiere episode showcases two stories with spine-tingling, first-person narration. The episode begins with "Emily the Imaginary Friend," a story about a young Baltimore family whose life is turned to chaos when they move into a new home and their 5-year-old daughter makes friends with an invisible girl named Emily. At first, Emily appears as a harmless playmate. Then, signs of mischievous behavior and household items moving or breaking start to occur in the house. The parents initially assume this could be uncharacteristically naughty behavior from their daughter, until the mischief turns increasingly more sinister and threatening towards the family members. The second story is "The Lost Girl", where a mother and daughter relive an unexplainable encounter along a rural dirt road in Florida with a mysterious girl who carries a shocking secret.
2 Haunted Highway / Kentucky UFO Chase
9/14/11
This week's episode presents two more real life paranormal tales. The first is a supernatural tear-jerker, "Haunted Highway". Dave Stautzenbach's 21 year old daughter and his 3 year-old grandson have mysteriously disappeared on a car journey to southern California. The police have joined the hunt but it seems Christine and Nicky have simply vanished from the face of the earth. But then disturbing premonitions and the ghostly sighting of a naked woman draw different family members and the police to the exact same spot down a ravine at the side of Highway 50 -- and the shocking fate of mother and son is revealed, a story with a real twist in the tale. Many of us don't believe in UFOs but the two cops in the second story certainly do. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, their police helicopter was chased across the nighttime skies of Kentucky by a glowing orange orb that fired fireballs at them in 1993.
3 The Poltergeist / Watched in the Wilderness
9/21/11
The episode starts with paranormal action-fest 'The Poltergeist'. When Susan and Matt move into a new home in Moreno Valley, California, with their respective daughters Jamie and Marie, life is fun-filled and happy until a vicious poltergeist turns their world upside down. Often recorded in their own photos, camcorder footage and cell phone recordings, cans are stacked high and food is smeared about the kitchen, bleach is spilled onto the furniture and toys, sofas and TVs fly across the room. The vain efforts to offer the spirit a peace offering backfire when it retaliates and the two girls must battle the fire-wielding demon to survive. The second offering is 'Watched in the Wilderness', the amazing true-life tale of a former deputy sheriff who is chased, herded and hunted by a mysterious beast high in the remote mountain wilderness of Oregon.
4 The Haunting of Mansfield Mansion
9/28/11
When Amy Moore buys her dream home, a rundown Connecticut mansion, at a knock down price she cannot believe her luck. Amy wants to renovate the house and restore it to its former glory - 3 floors, 9 bedrooms, an attic and a dank basement (with a mysterious concrete sarcophagus at its center), this will be her 'Picasso'. But when she starts scraping away the mouldy wallpaper and knocking down walls, she disturbs the spirits that have lain hidden inside for decades. Amy, her son, her daughter, her policeman lodger and her little grandson are soon terrorized by the ghosts of the evil men and women who once ran the mansion as a mental asylum.
5 The Dangerous Game / Trumbull County UFO
10/5/11
First, a board game unleashes an evil spirit who wreaks havoc on the lives of an innocent family. And then the skies of a small town play host to one of the most widely-witnessed UFO events ever.
6 The Rain Man
10/12/11
Young Don Decker is in trouble with the law, but he's been released from Stroudsberg Jail, Pennsylvania, on a weekend furlough to attend his grandfather's funeral. The Keefer family, who put him up for the night, has no idea what they're bringing into their home. Raindrops start falling down inside the house, then start flying upwards, and from side to side! As Don is mauled, clawed and levitated right in front of the family -- as well as Stroudsberg's current chief of police -- all come to realize that Don is the unwitting victim of demonic possession.

was once a good show that now seems infiltrated by right-wing religious fundamentalist BS. it continues to amaze me that the events depicted take place in the era of mobile phones and yet not a single photo is taken. the more credible episodes in season one at least offer corroborating evidence. season 4 is a huge disappointment.

This series is better than all of this type. I don't care for the investigater shows, I do not trust the producers and investigators, too easy to make things seem real. Eyewitness accounts are a better way to hear about these stories. they give me pause, though I don't believe that human dead come back to haunt, there is another alternative. that makes these very scary.

I like this show. But here should more demon episodes. They are the only episodes that show the cause of the problems. Full body, tall, muscular, beings from hell... and destined winners of the final war.
