They each purchase a 'classic' car from the decade and undertake a series of challenges including a tricky hill-climb course, an unusual visit to the supermarket, and an attempted evasion from the heavily-armed "Top Gear Police Department." Richard Hammond is on the shores of Lake Como testing the exciting new Alfa Romeo car against Jeremy Clarkson, who'll be riding a quad bike. Richard Hammond is in the dunes of Abu Dhabi to drive a new six wheeled machine from Mercedes Benz - the G63 6x6 - which was originally developed for the Australian military and is now available to civilians willing to spend over half a million dollars! Meanwhile, James May makes a rare visit to the test track to try out two new models from British sports car maker Caterham, and comedian Jack Whitehall is the "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car."
5 Top Gear - Episode 5
3/1/14
Richard Hammond is in Abu Dhabi to drive a new hybrid sports car from Porsche, the 918. Jeremy Clarkson and James May are tasked with shooting and presenting a safe cycling public information film to an expert panel featuring Olympic gold medal-winning cycling legend Chris Boardman. 6 Top Gear - The Burma Special: Part 1
3/8/14
In the first of an all-new two-part special, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are on a mission to build a bridge over the River Kwai in Thailand. In order to do so, they must first drive across a country that has been largely closed to Westerners for over 40 years: Burma. The trio must make this trip in three trucks that have been bought for a limited budget. What follows is an epic journey of beautiful scenery, regular adversity, ongoing malfunction, and constant bickering between the three hosts.
7 Top Gear - Burma Special, Part 2
3/15/14
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May continue their journey in three ancient and barely functioning trucks, heading toward their final challenge - building a bridge over River Kwai in Thailand. i love this show a great mix of fast cars and good reviews the presenters work really well together and the combination of Chris Harris and Matt le blanc is great i also like Rory Reid's presenting Style .. it will be interesting to see the direction the show goes in When Matt leaves and Paddy Mcguinness and Freddie Flintoff join the Show next Season ... and as a fan of both Top Gear and The Grand Tour I think there is space for two car shows on tv..

Love this show untill the original trio left. New lot, I like Rory and I like Matt. But I don't like Chris Harris, he is too much of a selfish big headed arse for my liking. If they got rid of him and put Sabina in his place, kept the old studio and gave Rory more of a slack on his leash, I would like this show ALMOST as much as the grand tour.

The 'watch it on iplayer' crazies are out in force it seems. One, Iplayer is blocked to non-uk ip addresses, and two it is a catch-up service. It's great the BBC produce shows that they can market and profit from globally, it keeps a lid on the licence fee for us brits. Stop moaning, and don't buy it if you're that bothered.
