2 Skin
11/18/13
In night two of the series premiere, Detective John Kennex and Dorian are dispatched to investigate a murder and high-profile missing persons case that lead them into the highly profitable world of IRCs -- Intimate Robot Companions -- also known as sexbots. Meanwhile, Kennex looks to reconcile a part of his troubled past.
3 Are You Receiving?

4 The Bends
12/2/13
An old cop friend of Detective Kennex's goes undercover, posing as a "cook" of a highly addictive street drug called "The Bends." But his cover is blown. As the scope of the intense drug investigation unfolds, a determined Kennex and Dorian call on Rudy Lom for assistance.
5 Blood Brothers
12/9/13
Detective John Kennex and Dorian are tasked with protecting the only remaining witness in a major murder trial, while Captain Maldonado faces off with the defendant.
6 Arrhythmia
12/16/13
Kennex and Dorian respond to a suspicious death at a hospital where -- before having a fatal cardiac arrest -- a man claimed someone was trying to kill him, and inexplicably knew his exact time of death. As the investigation unfolds, a black market for vital organs is uncovered in which bio-mechanical hearts can be resold and remotely "shut off." As the team fights to find the pulse of this 2048 tech-centric crime, Dorian reconnects with a decommissioned DRN.
7 Simon Says
1/6/14
Kennex and Dorian investigate a psychopathic killer named Simon (guest star DAVID DASTMALCHIAN), who is strapping bombs to his victims' necks and broadcasting their final moments over the internet. When Simon targets Kennex, the team is in a nail-biting race against time to save his life. Meanwhile, a power deficiency affects Dorian's energy level, causing him to have unexpected outbursts.
8 You Are Here
1/13/14
Kennex and Dorian investigate a crime scene involving a self-guided bullet that can track, target and kill specific people at any moment. Meanwhile, Maldonado revisits the deadly ambush that almost killed Kennex.
9 Unbound
2/3/14
There are consequences and casualties when Danica (guest star GINA CARANO), an advanced DRN that operates more like a soldier than a cop, is rebuilt and on a rampage. With few clues about her mission, location and innocent lives being lost, Kennex and Dorian look to Dr. Nigel Vaughn (guest star JOHN LARROQUETTE), a genius roboticist and DRN creator, in an attempt to track her down.
10 Perception
2/10/14
When Kennex and Dorian investigate the simultaneous and sudden deaths of two genetically-enhanced -- or "chrome" -- children, a fatal dose of the perfect designer drug appears to be the cause. As the investigation unfolds and a recent drowning victim is mysteriously connected, the case takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Kennex endures painful flashes from the past and pays a visit to the recollectionist.
11 Disrupt
2/17/14
A deadly crime from the future occurs when a "smart home" goes terribly bad and turns on its occupants. Detective Kennex and Dorian lead the investigation that forces them to interface with a house that is represented by a mysterious hologram character.
12 Beholder
2/24/14
When Kennex and Dorian investigate the murder of a "chrome," there are no signs of trauma, other than a very small pinprick on the back of his neck. As the investigation unfolds, it's revealed that the murder suspect is tapping into the DNA of his victims in pursuit of perfection.
13 Straw Man
3/3/14
A case from the past informs a heinous crime from the future as Kennex and Dorian investigate murders by a copycat of a serial killer whom Kennex's father (JOHN DIEHL) put in jail.

I watched this in 2021 and really enjoyed it. It is forward thinking, interesting and contemplative even some 8 years later. Production is good quality and am surprised and disappointed there was no series 2.

Brilliant Imaginative a future bound to happen. I want more. Too many of this genre have been shelved. Firefly to name one. Wake up and smell the need for top draw entertainment please. A 77 y.o. Aussie.

I actually really loved it. I hope they have a new season coming! I thought the acting was very capapable considering the challenges in shooting a sci-fi and I loved the dynamic between our two buddy cops.
