The Dawson's are back for another Benidorm all-inclusive holiday and the Solana certainly knows they have arrived when Eddie makes a shattering entrance and Joyce and the Solana staff are left to mop up the consequences. Eddie is caught short in the clothing department as a result and Sheron's fashion taste is put into question when he asks her to pick him up some new clothes.

Joyce has been asked to go to a conference in Barcelona which at first seems likes like a welcome break until she finds out that she has to make a speech in Spanish. She enlists Mateo for some help with the language but it looks like it's going to be more difficult than she thought.

When The Solana's meat supplier lets Joyce down she turns to Lesley to help her out, who in turn enlists Mateo; maybe there is a profit to be made on the situation? They draw a blank from Mr. Wu but Mateo has a friend Wolfgang with a farm, what could possibly go wrong?

Concerns from the Blow & Go team and Sam for Liam's wellbeing leads to confusion when they fear he has joined a self-help group to confront a traumatic childhood. Rob's rubbish exam results makes him question his future and he asks Tiger for a job at his Dad's company. Now he has to break the news to his family that he is giving up university to become a building labourer.

Baby Jesus has contaminated the swimming pool with weed killer and all the guests have to be evacuated. The chips are down as Crystal Hennessey-Vass pressures Joyce to sort things out ASAP.

The writing is brilliant. I get something more out of each viewing. We watch one of the 60 or so episodes every night, before bed. have done so since series one, 10 or so years ago. Only difference is that now it takes two months to get back to episode 1. We love it. We know virtually all the lines and jokes. We say them to each other and laugh. Our lives would not be complete without Derren's Benidorm. Thank you so much Derren Litten, you have made us so happy.

As you would expect from the costa blanca. My idea of holiday hell, but very funny. The last series not as funny I thought and has lost some of the old main characters. Got to see mel in his thongs though.

I love this comedy and got this on special offer. So was cheaper to buy the box set instead of the few series I was missing. The only issue is the specials are in the wrong place they have been put at the end of all of the episodes. The Easter special not only links series 2-3 it is the 2and part of the last episode of series 2. It is the same with the Christmas special it links 2-3.
