1 Revisited: Peter Davison, The Fifth Doctor
5/26/13
The Fifth Doctor, played by Peter Davison, introduced viewers to a character who was fresh faced, youthful and more vulnerable than we had seen before. Doctor Who Revisited takes a close look at a TARDIS that was bursting at the seams with a range of different companions, and examines one of the most dramatic episodes from the series to date. We also look at the return of two popular foes, the emotionless Cybermen and the ever-deceitful Master.

I've watched the first few serials with the 1st Doctor, and I watched all the 4th Doctor serials including Shada. I watched all of the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th Doctors. I love this show way better than new Doctor Who. Even though I'm young, it feels like Classic Who is better and I never met anyone my age that even likes Classic Who. Also, the 4th Doctor is my favorite. In either September or October 2015, I watched one Tom Baker VHS tape and that's all it took, one, and instantly liked the 4th Doctor. Not exaggerating either. I watched Pyramids of Mars, The Sontaran Experiment, Planet of Evil, The Android Invasion, the tape was out so it stopped playing at the end on the VHS tape with The Android Invasion, The Brain of Morbius, The Seeds of Doom, and The Horns of Nimon. I threw away the VHS tapes after I watched them. I plan on buying 4th Doctor DVDs too.

I'm only giving this episode set three stars due to the fact that this set only includes the 7th doctor episode Survival instead of the episode Rememberance of the Daleks which the original BBC America airing had originally shown. I've been wanting to see and keep a permanent copy of that episode for quite a while. I even tried to download that Daleks ep through torrents with no real luck. I'm disappointed with a legitimate video source like Google to not provide the serious DW fans with the episodes we are more then willing to pay for.

The Doctor has been apart of my life since PBS ( Then known as NATIONAL EDUCTIONAL TELEVISION ) first carried the last season of the 3rd Doctor and the 4th Doctor's exploits in the late 1960s and 70s. DEFENATELY THE FEW, THE PROUD AND BRAVE of Science Fiction! None Better...Though some do come close, perhaps even stand shoulder to shoulder, but none better to be sure!
