Barbara's sudden death has a profound impact on her surviving family. Frank and Dee are furious at being left out of the will and team up to seek revenge on the dead woman. For Dennis, the thrill of inheriting his mother's stately mansion is tempered by the realization that he, Mac, and Charlie are friendless and destined to die lonely and forgotten...unless they meet new friends. The only problem is that they don't quite know how to make friends.

When the gang learns the true reasons for Mac's mysterious behavior, they are even more sickened and horrified by their friend's behavior.

Charlie inadvertently puts Paddy's up as the grand prize in a dance marathon, and the gang is forced to enter the competition to save their bar from The Waitress and Father Mara, who will do anything to win the bar.

The show centers around four egocentric friends who run a bar together in Philadelphia and find their warped views and precarious judgment often lead to trouble.

Fee shows are capable of such multilayered absurdity in terms of character and comedy development where you find yourself reacting with laughter characterized with an element that cannot be paralleled. For those familiar with all the seasons, the words "zipties", "bound" alone will bring not only that scene but every Denis moment, and your proceeding chuckle is evidence enough

It's always sunny, is the best tv show ever. Danny Devito is brilliant as Frank I don't understand why it's not more popular in the UK

A bit like a live action South Park, once you get the rhythm of the humour and it's lack of a moral compass you will find it one of the best comedies ever made
