1 Swamp Invaders

After a hurricane tears through the bayou on opening day of Alligator Season, delaying hunting for five critical days, the swampers turn to family to help make up for lost time. Complicating matters is the arrival of two new hunters who invade the Louisiana swamp from their native Texas and challenge King of the Swamp Troy Landry to a high stakes bet. The shortened season forces everyone to take bigger risks including one hunter who jumps into the water to wrestle a huge live gator that tries to get away.

About this show

Deep in the heart of Louisiana lies America's largest swamp a million miles of inhospitable bayous, marshes and wetlands where nature rules and humans struggle to tame it. Many of its inhabitants are the hardened descendants of French refugees who were forced out of Canada in the 18th century and settled in this harsh yet majestic environment. Today, these people are known as the Cajuns, a group renowned throughout the world for their flavorful cuisine, distinctive music and vibrant culture. Resilient, self-reliant and fiercely independent, the Cajuns of the Atchafalaya Swamp still carry on many of their ancestors' trades and traditions.

It is one of my favourite shows. I have favourite people on the swamp people. Whenever they catch a gator, I say, "YES!". I get disappointed when it isn't on. Oh, and when they have to shoot them from afar, WOW! They don't have much of the gator to shoot and they manage to get them. Some of those gators are so big. I can rave on about it all year long. I don't get feet or pounds or mile so its hard to gauge how massive they really are. Bring it on!!!!

Best show ever I would recommend this to anyone the age over 11 its so intense it put me on the edge of My seat!!!
