Word of mouth is still a strong thing today. Rupauls drag race is amazing. Buying it through the google playstore is not wise. Ive paid for it 2 times now since i had to cancel once, rebuy it with a cheap 10$ credit they gave me the first time it took them a whole week just to get one episode up online.....now again its been a whole 24 hours. Still no new episode up the next day after. Itunes and amazon prime already got it posted and ready to view. Cancel. Get your money back and go buy it from an actual place that can uplaod the videos on time like advertised. No one wants to pay to find out to who lost in a lip sync from facebook media hours after the show airs cause i cant watch it yet. Like....BYE.

I love the show, however this platform is absolutely horrendous on release times. I knew going in that they were a bit inconsistent with release times as I have bought seasons in the past, but for season 10 they just seem to not care at all. As I write this it has been over a day since the actual episode aired and no episode has been uploaded. This will be my last time purchasing the show through Google Play as other platforms seem much more capable of keeping a timely release schedule. I am truly disappointed at how sloppy such an entertaining show is handled here. Again, my review is nothing on the show itself, but how inconsistent and late Google Play has gotten in release timings. It just seems that they don't care at all. I hope that no other fan makes the mistake of purchasing a season pass and suffering through their tremendously delayed release schedules.

Drag Race was a messy project from the beginning, but there is a real culturally rich heart at the center of the drama and comedy. Drag has been an artform for queer artists to express themselves for decades and this show single-handedly brought drag to the mainstream. It took almost ten seasons to do so, but it's happened. For the first time, mainstream television is talking about gender non-conformity, equal rights, and trans rights for millions of viewers to experience. Drag Race has definitely not always been the perfect example for the world, but it's adaptable to the changing times and has proven to do so with each coming season. A lot of people watch Drag Race for the drama or the comedy, but Drag Race does attempt to offer something that's missing from a lot of reality TV: cultural perspective.
